Summary: Today we kick off the first in a series of looks at the weapons that helped to shape the 20th Century with a look at the Mosin-Nagant M91/30. This is the first repeating rifle to be adopted by Russia and was a staple of the Soviet Union for more than half a century. From the Boxer Rebellion to the wars being fought in Afghanistan and Iraq and more that likely in Mali and Algeria the M91.30 has racked up one of the highest body counts ever to be associated with a rifle.
