The Journey - Step by Step
Summary: A show for new Christians and Christians looking to deepen their faith. When you walk with the Lord, you are never walking alone. The Journey connects you with others taking the same walk of faith. We discuss Biblical passages, speak with other Christians about their faith walk and we have fun. Be encouraged. Be inspired. Host Karyn Beach isn't a Biblical scholar or an expert in any facet of the faith. She is an honest Christian. She freely shares her story, struggles and successes and encourages her guests to do the same. Sincere. Real. Fun. Sincere because honesty always beats pretense. It isn't about making yourself look good, it is about actually finding the good\ and living it. Real because real emotions, real talk and real experiences lead to real truth. Fun because Christian isn't synonymous with boring and dull. We can and should laugh and have a good time!

Barbara Braendlein kept looking for God when things didn’t work out as planned. First, she found out that her 9-month-old daughter had mitochondrial disease. Then, against the odds, her next three kids were born with the same disease. A lot of people would have understood if she had given up on God. But like a tree root seeking water, she dug deeper and deeper. As a result, through suffering and disappointment, she not only found God but she found joy and a peace that goes beyond understanding.
