PipemanRadio Interviews Depleted Uranium | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 959

The Pipeman interviews Depleted Uranium the band. The music is very chaotic. Most of the songs really get written from jams. They like to bring the energy to the show. They do their own light show during performances. The band wanted to keep it melodic with intense. Loud heavy and fast. They have been doing this for over 12 years. The prequel album is called origins. The music was recorded 10 years ago. The old jam spot was encore music. During the lockdown they revisited old works and decided to release it. Music now can just be created on the computer. A lot of people get caught up in the product. They think of it more as a project. Each member brings their own flavor. When each member has total creative control over what they do. They’ve been playing with each other in other bands for over 20 years. The pandemic is ongoing in Canada. Shows have been no more as of now. The band practice ends up being like the shows. You can connect with the band on all social media sites, under Depleted Uranium the band. On all streaming platforms. Tones of videos on their YouTube channel. The album gets released tomorrow.  PipemanRadio Interviews VRSTY | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 929

The Pipeman interviews Joey from VRSTY the band. Joey was introduced to shows by his friend. He didn’t want to go to nothing but club’s show. When you go to a show the energy is hard to put into words. Joey came from being into RnB now loving metal. Combining both genres. It was hard to figure his voice out over the music he was writing. He grew up playing guitar. Joeys’ music has no formula. There’s a lot of genres that blended with metal. He starts with a guitar part that leads to a song. Then freestyles some melody and lyrics over to get the idea down. The industry is a scary place. Joeys a firm believer is you should be having fun, or you shouldn’t be doing it. His label is Spine Farm. Before signing there was another label that wanted to change his sound that he didn’t want to do. If your influenced by something else that’s ok, just not straight up copying it. The new album is called Welcome Home. Come see them on tour. You can connect via all social media platforms. JJ was practicing drumming and singing at the same time. The was something JJ wanted to due later in his career, but the time called for it. JJ styles of music for this band is 80s infused heavy metal. Heavily influenced by the 80s music sound. Main thing to let the creativity flow. JJ spent a lot of time focusing on the writing and melodies. How I roll is the first single came out a month ago. It’s a catchy upbeat tune. It has a happy vibe. The entire album has a upbeat uplifting vibe to it. It has some twisted sister vibe to it. Its about riding motorcycles and being free chasing your dream. Pipeman has a Y&T vibe while listening to it. They had some tour dates down in Mexico and now are being rescheduled and a Europe tour in March that is rescheduled for June as well.  PipemanRadio Interviews Sinful Ways | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2007

The Pipeman interviews Bradley from Sinful Ways. The pit is usually full of respect for one another. Starting off with the new ep, as Asher media made a great comment about the music video for Manhattan. It has that rawness that the band wants. The band has 3 vocalists. It’s a 200 BPM song. Covid killing the music scene. They are relying on the new music right now. The song pursuit has a lot of composition and string arrangements. Bradley runs and owns a production agency. Some of the best music is gong to come out of this. Most metal bands write about life experiences. Metal music of the 80s wrote about the future unlike other genres. 40s years later things still haven’t changed. They can connect with the band via Instagram and Facebook, videos on YouTube all search Sinful Ways. Moving froward the band planned on doing a east coast tour. Instead going into the studio and get another EP ready. The drummer does all the new screaming. The new guitarist does the back up screams. The old guitarist left 2 months before release, so the drummer had to re record the songs. Pipeman did 3 festivals and seen Metallica 6 times. He alson saw their first show ever. Sabbath was called Earth before. Geezer Butler is Bradley’s inspiration. Metal is a derivative of classical music. Metal was classical and blues mixed. Zeppelin is one of Bradley’s favorite bands. Slayer started out as a British metal cover band. Pantera started out as hair metal. First club show Pipeman went to was Motley Crue.  PipemanRadio Interviews Keri Kelli of Night Ranger | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 976

On this episode of The Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman speaks to Keri Kelli of Night Ranger about their 1st studio album in 4 years. Pipeman talks about how the videos released take him back to a better time in music and how the dual guitar is killer on the new tracks he’s heard. Keri talks about how they always try and include dual guitar shredding and explains how he loves seeing the younger generation still playing even with so many distractions around in modern times. ATBPO is the name of the album which stands for And The Band Plays On, which Pipeman notes is a nice ode to making music during the pandemic. Finally, Keri tells us that even after 40 years, everyone is still great friends who love to play live and make music together, and that while some bands are expected only to play their classics, Night Ranger fans love to hear the new stuff.
