Last class before sabbatical! Stretching & strengthening for core & legs, including fun ab exercises, compass, astavakrasana, etc. 60-minute class recorded live at Om Factory NYC, 10/28/2013. 2 blocks may be useful.
A fairly mellow practice even with a few challenging options. Lots of opening opportunities for inner thighs and shoulders. 60-minute class recorded live at Om Factory NYC, 3/6/2013. No background music, so hopefully better sound quality.
This class moved quickly — lots of squared hip standing poses, variations on prasarita, hip & IT stretches, extensions from surya namaskar, & playtime for crow. 60-minute class recorded live at Om Factory NYC, 2/19/2013. Apologies for poor sound quality – I’ll work on that.
Stretching & strengthening…. Today we moved with our breath, had dedicated strengthening for core & arms, and lots of good stuff for inner thighs. =) 90-minute class recorded live at Om Factory NYC, 1/20/2013. Apologies for poor sound quality, especially at the beginning.
Today’s class included some students who have been practicing for years and some who had never practiced yoga before. I tried to make class accessible and also challenging to everyone there. Whatever your level, I hope you enjoy! You may want one block for the beginning of class. 90-minute class recorded live at Om Factory NYC, 8/5/2012.
After two weeks battling the flu, I enjoyed teaching a slow-paced yet still warming class tonight. My voice may still be scratchy, but I haven’t posted in a while so hope y’all have fun playing with this one. 75-minute class recorded live at Om Factory NYC, 4/12/2012.
I had fun playing with today’s class. We came toward Koundinyasana 2 from three different directions, worked on some solid strengthening poses as well as a variety of lengthening poses. Enjoy! This 90-minute class was recorded live at Om Factory NYC, 2/12/2012. You may want to have two blocks accessible for this class.
Through our yoga practice, we have so many opportunities to find balance… between body and breath, left and right, up and down, contraction and expansion, strength and softness, shtira and sukha. 75-minute class recorded live at Om Factory NYC, 12/15/2011.
This week I’ve been focusing on fluidity… lots of breath, lots of flow. There is less of an orientation on active energy and power-poses, and more opportunities to go deep into the body and find fullness in stretches (including hanuman and otherwise). 90-minute class recorded live at Om Factory NYC, 11/27/2011. You may want to have two blocks accessible for this class.
