Add Custom Stamps to Snagit
Stamps are a favorite feature in Snagit. As long as you use the default stamps in Snagit on the Mac and PC, everything works great. Some people want to add custom stamps to Snagit for Mac like that can on the PC. Well, that doesn't work for Snagit on Mac 1.0, but there is a work around.
Snagit on Mac has some controls for compression of JPEG images, but that's about it.
The Copy All button is popular feature in Snagit. The only problem is that it sometimes gets hidden. But, don't worry, it's easy to fix and have the "copy all" button always available.
Snagit let's you capture transparency on your screen, but sometimes that comes at a price with artifacts (hey, it's tough capturing something you can't see). So, this little tip shows you how to change your capture setting in the preferences.

Page curl is a fun new effect in Snagit 10. I like to add it to simple screen shots that I think people may try to click on (come on, we've all done that before, right?). Save people the embarrassment, use the page curl effect.
Snagit had the cut out tool before, but it works a lot better in 10. Not only is it easier to use, but you can apply an edge effect to the cut. Very cool.
