Gene and Randall welcome Dr. Bruce Maccabee. Over the years, he has investigated and reported on numerous sightings, including the Gemini 11 and Skylab 3 astronauts sightings, the famous McMinnville UFO photos of 1950, the 1978 New Zealand sightings, the 1986 Japan Airlines sighting, the Gulf Breeze sightings from 1987 to 1996, and the Mexican Air Force sighting of 2004. He was the first to obtain the secret FBI file on “flying discs,” wherein he found indisputable evidence that the Air Force withheld—some might say covered up—important UFO evidence from the American people. By chance, during the 1980s, his Navy work allowed him to establish a decade-long investigation of the CIA. The story of this investigation is published in his book "The FBI-CIA-UFO Connection: The Hidden UFO Activities of USA Intelligence Agencies."
Gene and Randall welcome movie producer/director James Fox, whose UFO documentary, “The Phenomenon,” was released after eight years of work. James will focus on the highlights of the film along with exclusive background information, including anecdotes, on how the film was put together. Narrated by actor/voiceover specialist Peter Coyote, the film includes Senator Harry Reid, President Clinton, President Ford, John Podesta, White House Chief of Staff for Clinton and advisor to Obama, Governor Bill Richardson, Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, Christopher Mellon, NASA Astronauts, Governor Fife Symington, George Knapp, Dr. Garry Nolan, Dr. Jacques Vallee, who was portrayed in Steven Spielberg’s “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.”

Just take a deep breath as Andrew Colvin takes us on an amazing and wild journey into the mysteries of Mothman, the crash of the Silver Bridge, the Maury Island UFO, MIB encounters, the JFK assassination and other ongoing conspiracy topics. Are there connected threads or synchronicities among any of them? Andrew is an eclectic artist, photographer, filmmaker, publisher, musician, and bestselling author, who has been called “one of America’s great, pain-in-the-butt original thinkers.” Colvin has written or co-written over 50 books, and is credited with co-discovering the “11-11 Awakening Code” and advancing the practice of “synchro-conspiracy.” Following in the footsteps of his mentor, Fortean author John A. Keel, Colvin is considered by some to be the leading authority on the mysterious Mothman, due to his early experiences with the phenomenon and his intensive documentation of symbols and synchronicities.
Gene and Randall present paranormal researcher Bill Kousoulas. In 2003, he was introduced to "The Mothman Prophecies" movie, and it truly changed his life. Since then, he has read nearly all of John Keel’s research, as well as the works of similar authors including Gray Barker, Andrew Colvin, and Brent Raynes, and he will discuss Mothman, the MIB and other strange phenomena that has impacted Point Pleasant, West Virginia. Since 2016, Bill and his wife Jaci have visited that city regularly. He is completing his PhD in psychology, with a focus on post-traumatic growth. Bill and Jaci are also in the preliminary stages of a phenomenological study that will examine the correlations between paranormal experiences and post-traumatic growth.
Gene and Randall welcome long-time UFO and Bigfoot investigator Stan Gordon, who will provide detail and graphic descriptions of recent cases, including a large number reported in and around his Pennsylvania locale. What about the possibility that both UFOs and Cryptid reports, such as Bigfoot, have a common cause? Stan is the primary investigator of the 1965 UFO crash incident that occurred near Kecksburg, PA. and has been taking calls on UFO sightings and other strange reports from the public since 1969. He has given illustrated lectures both locally and nationally on the topics of UFOs, Bigfoot, Cryptids, and strange encounters since the late 1960s. He was listed in the 2005 FATE Magazine special, The 100 Most Influential People in Ufology Today.
Gene and Randall present a return visit from John B. Alexander, Ph.D. This wide-ranging discussion covers topics that range from the History Channel's "Project Blue Book" TV show, that was very loosely based on the life of Dr. J. Allen Hynek, to the Pentagon's UAP Task Force, the Roswell legend, the book "The Day After Roswell" by Philip J. Corso and William J. Birnes, cosmic consciousness, the afterlife and even reincarnation. Dr. Alexander is a retired senior Army officer with nearly half a century experience in special operations, intelligence, and research and development. He is author of many articles, monographs and books, including, "UFOS: Myths, Conspiracies, and Realities" and "Reality Denied: Firsthand Experiences with Things that Can’t Happen – But Did."
Gene and Randall welcome UFO researcher Richard Hoffman for a return visit. As of this interview, Rich has been following the topic for well over 50 decades. He is a member of NARCAP, the Planetary Society, and works among a group of academics and scientists with the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies (SCU). In his working life, he is an Enterprise Architect working at Redstone Arsenal and the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. One of Rich’s projects is the investigation of mysterious balls of lights that appear in Alabama. In this interview, we talk to Rich about this light phenomenon, its history, and Rich’s ongoing investigation into UFOs. He also talks about the Pentagon's UFO task force, and what the government might know about the phenomenon.
Gene and Randall are joined by Canadian UFO researcher Chris Rutkowski for another session of cutting-edge discussion on the subject. He also hangs around for a further discussion on After The Paracast, an exclusive feature of The Paracast+. During this interview, Chris talks about the ongoing personality conflicts in the UFO field and how he's tried to stay above the fray, and he also responds to Gene's question about how the nature of sightings has changed over the years based on his years of research. Chris is a science writer and educator with degrees in astronomy and education. Since the mid-1970s, he’s also been studying reports of UFOs and writing about his investigations and research. He is also the author of a number of UFO books that include, "When They Appeared: Falcon Lake 1967: The inside story of a close encounter."
Gene and Randall present John Olsen, who has spent the last 30 years interviewing and documenting first-hand accounts of those who have witnessed all kinds of strange and unusual phenomena in the western United States. He also had his own firsthand experience growing up in an active paranormal home in Northern Utah. John has traveled and interviewed people who have also faced the unknown. During this episode, such fascinating topics as dimensional portals, and whether paranormal events are merely glitches in a simulated reality, are discussed. And what about the Mandela Effect, where people remember cultural events differently, such as whether Dolly, Jaws' girlfriend in the James Bond film, "Moonraker," really had braces similar to her boyfriend.
Gene and Randall explore the abilities of the late psychic Edgar Cayce with best-selling author Sidney D. Kirkpatrick. Cayce is referred to as "the sleeping prophet, the father of holistic medicine, and the most documented psychic of the 20th century." Sidney's books include "Edgar Cayce: An American Prophet." He is the only author to receive unrestricted access to the Edgar Cayce archives in Virginia Beach, and he and his wife Nancy have authored some 30 articles on "the Miracle Man of Virginia Beach" and have been editors of Venture Inward, the official magazine of Edgar Cayce's Association for Research and Enlightenment. Kirkpatrick has lectured at the Smithsonian, the National Archives, UCLA, and Edgar Mitchell's Institute of Noetic Science. HBO, the History Channel, the Discovery Channel, A & E Television, NBC, and the BBC have all featured his work.
Fortean researcher/writer/podcaster Micah Hanks returns to The Paracast to bring us up to date on his work. He covers the legends of the MIB, the work of author John Keel, space exploration and, among other things, current reports about the UAP (UFO) task force formed by the Pentagon. Micah is a longtime advocate for scientific research into UFOs. As a frequent commentator and writer on this subject, he maintains an interest in the history, and possible scientific explanations for aspects of the phenomenon. Along with his science advocacy relating to this topic, Micah’s interests also include areas of consciousness research, biological and zoological mysteries, and other unusual phenomena in nature. A “hopeful skeptic,” he advocates a critically-minded approach to the study of these subjects.
Gene and Randall welcome a return visit from skeptical researcher Bryan Bonner, from Colorado’s Rocky Mountain Paranormal Research Society, who talks about a variety of paranormal topics, such as the quality of UFO research and evidence and the ongoing MUFON “follies.” Bryan has been examining a wide range of reported paranormal phenomena for over two decades. From ghosts, poltergeists, psychics, and urban legends, to UFOs, conspiracy theories and much more, Bryan steers clear of the sensationalism. From the field to the lab, he tests bizarre beliefs and practices, conducts experiments and on-site investigations, and recreates unusual events. He has confronted hauntings, Ouija board activity, levitation, psychic readings, alien abductions, and telephones that try to talk to the dead.
UFO researcher Preston Dennett returns with more incredible reports of UFO encounters, including abductions and reports at drive-in movie theaters. He also talks about what may be the growing possibility of, at long last, UFO disclosure. Preston began investigating UFOs and the paranormal in 1986 when he discovered that his family, friends and co-workers were having dramatic unexplained encounters. Since then, he has interviewed hundreds of witnesses and investigated a wide variety of paranormal phenomena. He remains a field investigator for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), a ghost hunter, a paranormal researcher, and the author of more than two dozen books and more than 100 articles about UFOs and the paranormal. An avowed advocate of the extraterrestrial theory for UFOs, Preston asks: Wh are they visiting our planet? What is their agenda? Are they friendly or hostile?
Gene and Randall present veteran UFO investigator Dr. Roberto Pinotti, a journalist and author and, he says, the main Italian Ufologist. He has a degree in political science and applied social sciences from the University of Florence, a professional journalism qualification, and a degree in Business Administration and Management Science. Since 1960 he has searched for any available documentation or information about the UFO phenomena. He is the founder and President of Italy's Centro Ufologico Nazionale (CUN), established in 1967 and represented Dr. Hynek's CUFOS in Italy. During this episode, Roberto will discuss his two-volume book, "UFO Contacts in Italy," and some compelling sightings from Italy.
