In this weeks episode, I discuss a few tips for recording acoustic guitar including looking after your guitar, mic placement and the dreaded DI signal.  Here is a list of the mic placements used for the examples: Position 1 - 8" from the guitar, infront of the sound hole, pointing at the sound hole Position 2 - 8" from the guitar, positioned between the bridge and the end of the guitar, pointing into the sound hole Position 3 - 8" from the guitar, positioned at the 12th Fret, pointing towards the sound hole. Position 4 - 8" from the guitar, positioned in front of the sound hole, raised 6" and angled to point into the sound hole Position 5 - 8" from the guitar, positioned in front of the sound hole, pointing at the 15th Fret.
