We talk about the movie I Am Number Four, new music we like, and then get totally distracted by Youtube. Feelin' fly like it's Quidditch!
An abortive attempt at talking about relationships, and then back to comic book movies, videogames & the plot to an incredibly confusing, futuristically-philosophical Sci-Fi book that hurts my brain...
It's freakin' Mother's Day! i hope you did something nice for your mom. I mean, even Hitler loved his mom. You don't want to be worse than Hitler, do you?
Today we talked about Fast Five, The White Stripes, and looked in vain for a "Happy post-1-year anniversary of starting your own radio show 2 weeks ago!" Hallmark card. "Sentiments for all occasions" my ass!
Today we talk about music we like... also, tomorrow is my birthday! Yayyyyyy!
Today co-host Jason and I ramble on about videogames, and go wherever the conversation takes us.
I am Trev S. Thomas, Esquire, and this is my totally non-heinous Rock music to rock out to! Remember... be Excellent to each other... and Rock On, San Dimas!!
Roll down the car windows, fling open the shower door and belt it out! these are songs to be sung at high-volume, head held high (or tilted out a window) at passersby and neighbors for the sheer joy it! Sing along with me as I play these awesomely voluminous vocal harmonies.
Ah, it's that time of year again.. have you been naughty, or nice? Cuz Santa's watching.. he's... ALWAYS watching... Today, with special guest DJ Kringle in da house, we be spinnin' a special holiday medley for you to get your jollies on to. Give it up for the Holidays, yo!
Remember how, at the end of a movie when the bad guy is vanquished, the orphan is reunited with his parents, and the neverending battle for justice is finally over, the good guy is kissing his new girlfriend, and all the friend and loved ones that have died during the bad guy's rampage can finally be put behind them, even though it may have happened mere hours before, and they play that wonderful ending song and fade to credits? This is a collection of those kinds of songs. ...You know the end of Face/Off, when there's the pause and he walks through the door and is reunited with his family and their new son? That always gets me right here (sniff).
ROAD TRIP!! Keep yourself awake and jumpin' at the wheel with this finely-crafted playlist of upbeat music, guaranteed to keep yourself from falling asleep, courtesy of me and my years of dedicated, obsessive playlist-makin' compulsions. Now I wanna' go on a road trip... anyone in?
I like feeling emotional, and this music helps me get there. With a tear in my eye, I bring you my favorite heartfelt music.
Maya Seligman is on the show, acting as both interviewer and interviewee. Maya is from Maya's Mix, on fridays at 2. And, incidentally, I was on her show the week after. Check out her Listener Favorites, part IV episode to hear us again!
There were so many zombies this Halloween, it's ridiculous! Overwhelmingly, at the Ashland Halloween Parade, the place was full of zombies. Which was great when they started playing Thriller, but not so great when all that dancing made them ...hungry.
This is sad music for sad times... if you're in a funk and want a soundtrack, pull out the old yearbook or love-letters or whatever and give this episode a listen (+ an extra 40 min. of deleted content!!).
