Hello and welcome to this, 2022's first expose' podcast! We're talking about the saga of N874AA (I refer to it in the show as "Nine874”) An ex- AA 727 that was donated to the museum of flight in Seattle, WA & ended up in the hands of a museum located in Missouri. It was ultimately scrapped in 2021.  But it’s not the scrapping of the aircraft which I found interesting, it's the circumstances surrounding the scrapping of the aircraft which is right up the alley of 'shady'.  And yes, it includes some aircraft maintenance 'stuff' too! Hello and welcome everyone!  In this kind of-sorta bonus, 'explanation' podcast I'm talking about how some of my social media postings recently were taken out of context when referring to Cpt. Sullenberger.   Sully is an amazing person, an American hero, no doubt!  I have NOTHING 'against' him.  But his focus as US.
