Dawn of TwilightJoin Now to Follow
Announcing "Dawn of Twilight", a web mini-series coming soon to onemanasylum.com. This series was originally produced in 2003-2004 as an independent film but has been re-edited with never before seen footage and will be released exclusively through this web site. The first episode "The Arrival" will arrive on Sunday, September 18th 2011 and new episodes will follow every week thereafter until completion. Dawn of Twilight was shot entirely in North Texas by a group of committed actors and crew with virtually no budget. The story of just how all of this came to be is almost as interesting as the series itself so along with each episode, Cyrus Martin (Writer, Director and Producer) will chronicle a little of the process that went into making the episode with a video featurette. Independent film and video production has been thriving in Texas for some time now and if you are interested in learning a little about how it all works and also a bit about some of the pitfalls and compromises that you will run into along the way then check these out. We might be able to save you from some mistakes or at least entertain you with the story of all the ones we made. We'll have more about this project posted here in the coming weeks. If you have questions about Dawn of Twilight, the actors involved or indie production work then feel free to post them under the comments section here. I will respond and I may even use them in coming videos. Thanks everyone for all of the support. For now, we have a small Teaser Trailer for the first episode of "Dawn of Twilight". Please let us know any and all of your thoughts.

AirTurn presents a weekly video podcast to help musicians get the most out of their AirTurn hands-free page turners, digital sheet music software, and other music reading technologies. Launched in 2008, AirTurn, Inc. is a Boulder, Colorado based company dedicated to developing digital tools to enhance the pedagogy, performance, and practice of music. Its flagship product - the AirTurn AT-104 wireless page turning transmitter pedal system - frees musicians from the limitations of paper sheet music scores and enables them to turn pages completely hands-free on most Mac and PC computers. "AirTurn's Tips and Tricks for Modern Musicians" is hosted by Hugh Sung, a professional pianist on the Collaborative Piano faculty of The Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, and VP of communications for AirTurn, Inc. Hugh brings a wealth of information and experience from having been a "paperless pianist" since 2002, working exclusively with computers and Tablet PCs to read, annotate, and store his sheet music library of over 6000 scores.
