Welcome to A Super Smiley Adventure! In living with dogs, cats and horses, one thing I’ve learned is that if we are open to it, animals will lead us on amazing adventures. Whether it’s Super Smiley, my giant mutt, hiking and camping across New England and inspiring an entire Flash Mob Dance Campaign; Tout Suite The Travel Kitty traveling with me to Pet Friendly Resorts; or Starfire, our beautiful Arabian, leading me on inner journeys of self-discovery; my life with animals is always an adventure. Add the “happy chemicals” pets bring and a smiling dog, and voila, our show appeared. On our podcast, we explore travel destinations, inner journeys and any path of pet adventure we can find. Pets lower our blood pressure, lower our heart rates and increase our happy chemicals. We are their leaders, but if we can open to see where they lead us, we will begin our own Super Smiley Adventures. :)

Tourcaster - Paris - Pere Lachaise Cemetery Audio Tour show

The world's most visited cemetery is also also the largest in Paris, and is located in the 20th arrondissement. The cemetery somewhat resembles a park, thanks to the architect who designed it and the multitude of artists who created incredible sculptural tombs and vaults. When it was first established by Napoleon, the cemetery was thought to be too far outside the city, so the administrators actually created a marketing plan. The remains of several famous people were transferred to Père-Lachaise, in hopes that the general population would jump at the chance to be buried next to a famous person. The plan worked, making it the largest cemetery in Paris today. This is track one of a multi-track tour, to download the entire tour, visit www.Tourcaster.com

Cities and Memory - remixing the world show

Cities and Memory - remixing the worldJoin Now to Follow

Cities and Memory remixes the world, one sound at a time - a global collaboration between artists and sound recordists all over the world. The project presents an amazingly-diverse array of field recordings from all over the world, but also reimagined, recomposed versions of those recordings as we go on a mission to remix the world. What you'll hear in the podcast are our latest sounds - either a field recording from somewhere in the world, or a remixed new composition based solely on those sounds. Each podcast description tells you more about what you're hearing, and where it came from. There are more than 6,000 sounds featured on our sound map, spread over more than 120 countries and territories. The sounds cover parts of the world as diverse as the hubbub of San Francisco’s main station, traditional fishing women’s songs at Lake Turkana, the sound of computer data centres in Birmingham, spiritual temple chanting in New Taipei City or the hum of the vaporetto engines in Venice. You can explore the project in full at http://www.citiesandmemory.com
