Hello deep house music lovers Mushroom boyz consists of two people namely Morena Motikoe and Menzi Khumalo. Not only brothers musically but are family (cousins). The name mushroom is extracted from love and passion of music.Dj'ing and music production talent was self discovered and natured up to where they are now and where not groomed or trained by anyone, it was not planned but it came abruptly to us, we fell in love with it. Hence the name mushroom because they grow unplanted and unexpected. The desire to fulfill souls musically was not premeditated. There musical journey began at a tender ages and have always had a good ear for good music. This developed into a passion that grew on us and is still growing. We collected music in 2003 and we bought our first vinyls/records the same year and expanded the collection. This then proceeded to dj'ing at events and this is where the exposure began. Music production commenced in 2004 but none of there music was released because they wanted to acquire more skills and grow musically. In 2009,Mushroomboyz began doing remixes for well known record labels, the likes of Boddhi Satva's Offering recordings,Ezel's Ocha and Shack music.They are currently working on an album which should be released in September As they grow musically mushroom Boyz aspire dearly to develop a music academy to share the knowledge of music with other passionate and aspiring DJz and producers.So everyone enjoy the show and hear these guys turn into lions :)Tracklist:1. “THE ZULU AMBASSADOR” reflects the name “Blaq Soul,” a young black Zulu African boy who grew up in a small township called KwaNdengezi (KwaZulu Natal). KwaNadengezi is one of the most traditional provinces in South Africa. “Zulu” is one of the 11 South African races which is well known for its traditional music and culture.21 year old, Nkanyiso Mhlongo, also know as "Blaq Soul", grew up in Durban, South Africa raised by a single mother and his older brothers.
