Our mind is like a computer. The way we program it will determine how it's going to function. Just like a virus can slow down a perfectly good, working computer, our wrong thinking can slow down our destiny. In fact, our lives follow our thoughts. If you're going to live in victory, you have to learn to hit the delete button and silence the negative thoughts. Romans 12:2 says to "Renew your mind with God's Word." Turn off the negative recording that's reminding you of everything you're not and start reprogramming your mind with God's Word and who He says you are.

Narrated by Isabella Rossellini and produced by the National Gallery of Art, this film traces the career of Giuseppe Arcimboldo, an artist whose work thrilled and delighted the Habsburg courts of the later 16th century. Arcimboldo was best known for his "composite heads"—faces composed of fruits, vegetables, fish, flowers, and beasts of all kinds. The film explores the connection between his paintings and the burgeoning natural sciences, the voyages of discovery, and the atmosphere of intellectual curiosity at the courts of Europe. The film is made possible by the HRH Foundation. Produced in conjunction with the exhibition Arcimboldo, 1526–1593: Nature and Fantasy.

In Luke, chapter fifteen, Jesus teaches the parable of the Prodigal son. In this story, Jesus describes two sons, who were given a share of their Father’s estate. One son served his father faithfully, while the other squandered his property through reckless living. When the prodigal son came to his senses, he returned to his father and said, “I am no longer worthy to be called your son.” Yet the father still rejoiced! Our son, Andrew, was like the prodigal son. My wife and I wondered if our son Andrew was ever coming home to God. But he did, at age 27. We cannot give up praying! When preaching at festivals, I would be inviting people to Christ. Sometimes thousands would come forward. I always prayed, “Lord, when will Andrew come home?”But my wife and I believed that God was going to rescue him. Andrew never renounced Christianity or the church, like you hear people say nowadays, but he was not walking with God because Andrew had not yet been converted. He loved the world. Yet still we prayed. Do you have a prodigal son or daughter? In the Psalms it says, “Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.” Let’s hope in the Lord together for our prodigal sons and daughters to return to Him. Reach out and encourage those who are praying for their lost children to come home and to never give up!
