Summary: Duncan Etches spent two years at the Tafari Makonnen school in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. A graduate of UBC, first in Chemistry and then medical school, Duncan remembers the the value of learning from his placement overseas. Duncan has remained interested in global issues, as well as local.
