News: Walking to 50% Fewer Heart Attacks Starting off in this week's first news item we look at a study I found over MedicalNewsToday.com (http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/releases/251277.php). It is a study by scientists following the health of 10,000 people for the last 10 years. Now they are looking at what their risk factors are for different diseases they develop. Have they developed diabetes or heart disease? Have they had a stroke or heart attack? Full Time Implanted Heart Monitor You all know I'm always on the lookout for interesting tech gadgets and items that are on the horizon for healthcare technology. I found another great item over Medgadget.com (http://medgadget.com/2012/10/biotronik-biomonitor-implant-keeps-a-close-eye-on-heart-rhythms.html).
