Episode 011 – Evil Puppets

Planet Macabre show

Summary: The second go around of the host picked horror movie themes begins with a dandy. Lady Phantom wanted the group to focus on scary puppet and doll films that really freaks her out. Reviews start with Dolls, a 1987 quirky horror movie, next is probably the most popular doll-style movie, Child’s Play, introducing Chucky, the spirited Good Guy is out to kill everyone that stands in his way. Third is Puppet Master or Puppetmaster, a movie that garnered 8 sequels and features some unique puppets like Blade, Tunneler, Pinhead, Ms. Leech and Jester. On a more serious tone, Dolly Dearest crosses the path of the critics, and winding it down with Dead Silence, written and directed by James Wan, the man from the Saw franchise.
