Summary: Joel Nathan, M.D. graduated the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 1980. He completed the Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Michigan. His interest in helping patients recover from substance abuse led him to complete a fellowship program in Addiction Medicine at the V.A. Medical Center in San Francisco. He then became the medical director of the Stanford University Alcohol and Drug Program and went on to start his private practice in New York City. After 21 years of helping his patients make and sustain lifestyle changes, he is now certified in the Age Management Field. He is certified as an Age Management physician through Cenegenics. He follows a program of Age Management himself and does the work to get healthier. He works out three days a week and follows a low glycemic diet.
