From Complex To Queens, Episode 195: St. Lucie Mets 2022 review

Home Run Applesauce: A New York Mets podcast show

Summary: Welcome to From Complex to Queens, the Amazin’ Avenue podcast focusing on the Mets’ minor league system. First up this week, Steve, Lukas, Ken, and Thomas discuss bad baseball nicknames in Promote, Extend, Trade. Next, they review the Mets’ Arizona Fall League contingent and how they did in this fourth week of the AFL season. Following that, they quickly touch on some breaking news and how it will affect the Mets minor league system. Lastly, they share their thoughts about the 2022 St. Lucie Mets season. The team had a ton of highly-regarded Mets prospects and farmhands rostered in the first half and they took care of business, winning the Florida State League East division. Promotions cost them some of their higher profile players in the second half, but 2022 draftees provided reinforcements late and the team went on to sweep the playoffs, winning their sixth Florida State League championship!
