Tyler Mane talks about playing Blackstar on Netflix's Jupiter's Legacy

Summary: Tyler Mane recently joined host Elias in the cave! Tyler stars as Blackstar the villain on Netflix's Jupiter's Legacy. The series follows the story of the world's first superheroes who received their powers in the 1930s. In the present day, they are the revered elder guard but their super-powered children struggle to live up to the legendary feats of their parents. Blackstar is responsible for the genocide of one alien species, and it is up to the Union of Justice to stop him from destroying Earth. Tyler briefly played semi-pro football, before his childhood dream of becoming a professional wrestler began. From 1986-1999, he wrestled professionally, all over the world, for the WCW and the UWF, as “Big Sky,” with his tag team partner, Kevin Nash, as the evil Nitron. Tyler hung up his wrestling boots in 1999, and fully immersed himself in acting when he realized that was his dream. His acting debut began in 2000, when he starred as Sabretooth in Marvel Studio’s “X-Men.” Additional film credits include Paramount Pictures’ “Playing with Fire,” opposite John Cena and Keegan-Michael Key, Warner Brothers’ “Troy,” opposite Brad Pitt, Columbia Pictures’ “Joe Dirt,” Universal Pictures’ “The Scorpion King,” Rob Zombie’s “Halloween” where Mane starred as Michael Myers, and Lionsgate’s “The Devil’s Rejects,” to name a few.
