Episode 116: Defining You and Your Program to Achieve Excellence

College Recruiting Weekly Podcast show

Summary: How can coaches build a truly excellent program? By defining what 'excellence' is. That's what today's guest would make the case for: Giancarlo Lemmi is the Associate Head Coach for Liberty University women's tennis, and has helped the program amass over 100 wins since 2012. In the process of his coaching work at the university, Lemmi has advocated for coaches to become better at defining their vision for their careers and programs, and the working towards achieving that vision. As a by product of that effort, Lemmi just published his first book, "The Court of Excellence: Using Your Life Story to Shape Your Coaching Philosophy". The book is available here: https://amzn.to/3iEkFcu Coach Lemmi also co-hosts the popular "The Christian Coach Podcast" - listen to their interviews with lots of fellow coaches and how they are building their lives, careers and program here: https://www.coachlemmi.com/podcast His website also offers ways coaches can get help developing their own stories to define their program, and attract the right recruits: https://www.coachlemmi.com/ Thanks for listening, Coach!
