Summary: Roger Long, a lonely, disabled, celebrity memorabilia collector has his life turned upside down when he discovers an infestation of fruit flies in his suburban Dallas home. Enter Merle Bugg, Jr. II, a crooked cop who knows Roger from their local church. It turns out, Merle has a brother named Ronny Bugg who just so happens to be an exterminator and who just so happens to be particularly infatuated with a certain piece of memorabilia in Roger’s collection.
