The band has outdone themselves with this debut. "Disengage The Robots" 1:40:56 Classic indie with the unmistakable sound of The Shop Window. Great comment on the disconnect in the world. Sometimes you have to stop and breathe. Alt-rock artist Rivita's "Speed Limit" is about letting go of the race that life can become. The track moves you towards the positive and a relaxed state of being. Released June 15th. “Speed Limit” 5:50:43 This release showcases her unique vocals. Love it! Alt-rock artist Rivita creates from Los Angeles, United States. Next up, "Lowell Lee Lloy" by U.S. artist The Meskimo. We listen to it next. "Mirror Mirror" is about the struggle between who we are and the negative images we create. When you look in the mirror, sometimes the person staring back at you seems like a horrible monster. Through self acceptance and self love set ourselves free from that distorted image. Release May 28th. "Mirror Mirror" 14:04:39 Great release by Morgan. I love her sombering vocals in this track. Full interview aired on thebuzzr indie show June 14. Loself, New Zealand indie pop artist Stillwater Blackball is next. “Waterside” released June 4th. Here it is. "Waterside" 17:51:37 The track is an anthem for us who are desperate to become lost in the wilderness, away from the weight of the "real world". Now we spin “Cheap Ecstasy” by Tarn PK out of Wellington, New Zealand. "Cheap Ectasy" released May 28 and is the final release from the Monarch EP collection. "Cheap Ecstasy" 23:27:59 Before we end the night, “Jack's Lullaby” by The Shop Window. Part of the debut album The State Of Being Human. “Jack’s Lullaby” 27:29:15 Carl Mann wrote this for his child when he was in his partner's womb. What a tremendous and emotional way to end the night. Full interview episode of The Shop Window airs June 21st. We feature three tracks from the debut album. Closing tonight, a Chinese proverb.
A bird does not sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song.
Simple yet true. And that brings us to the end. Thank you for tuning in. Thank you to the artists for their music, on tonight’s show. Buzz Roll Media sponsors thebuzzr after hours podcast.
