Boundaries in Parenting: Limits teach us self control and self discipline. Throughout the entire Bible, it talks about God’s love for His people and their relationship with Him. As a good Father, God created us with free will. God wanted his people to choose Him rather than force us to love him. In order to protect that relationship, God set limits with us. Even in a perfect world before sin, God still created limits. Discipline without relationship, always leads to rebellion. Listen to that again. Discipline without relationship, always leads to rebellion.
