Summary: Prof. Mark Skidmore is a professor of economics at Michigan State University's department of Agriculture, Food and Resource Economics where he specializes in the economics of the public sector, intergovernmental fiscal relations and the economics of natural disasters. He also holds the Chair for State and Local Government Finance and Policy. In addition to his academic position, Prof Skidmore is the director of the North Central Regional Center for Rural Development that covers a dozen of the northern states and serves as a consultant on issues concerning economic development. Along with economist Catherine Austin Fitts, who has been on this program in the past, Mark are bringing public awareness to $21 Trillion missing dollars from the US government -- which we will be exploring together.   Mark holds three degrees in economics, from the University of Washington and the University of Colorado and was a Fulbright scholar in Japan.
