A million dollars is 10,000 $100 bills, or a stack 43″ tall, which weighs more than 20 pounds. Obviously, an armored car could easily haul that amount, but in the much more likely event of having a mix of currency (1s, 5s, 10s, and 20s in addition to a much smaller number of 100s), then it’s obviously going to be much larger and heavier.
