Summary: God has promised, but is He trustworthy to back up His promises? Many today, even within the realm of Christianity, question whether He is. But as it proclaims in Numbers 23:19, “God is not a man that he should lie, neither the son of man that he should repent. Hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” The promises of God (which are replete throughout Scripture) are not merely given to us: we must come to them and obtain them. There is a Promised Land (also known as real Christianity) flowing with the milk and honey of God’s goodness, but it is only those who believe their God that will find it.
