Summary: Our June preview podcast features tracks from all five of the artists who will be at the gig on June 25th. You'll hear from electronic pop act Delaire, A Scottish, Alt rock/Indie band with twist of funk called Ded Rabbit, punk/pop from Sheepy, An unforgetable presence in Australia’s neo-soul scene known as Rita Satch, and Mo Michael who plays blues and folk influenced music with African sentiments. They will be appearing at this year's T In The Park and Xpo North. This Discovery showcase will be their London stop to promote  release of their forthcoming Ep 'Moving In Slow Motion'. “It’s an explosive affair when you see Ded Rabbit live. DELAIRE With vocals as pure as the diamond she derives her name from, DELAIRE is ready to shine. Drawing inspiration from the spectacular Delaire Sunrise Diamond, her addictive melodies are only matched by sensual, yet subtle lyrical stylings. Like the precious stone itself, the end result is a composition of conflicting qualities. Powerful, yet intricate. Controlled, yet pure. Composed, but natural. Delaire played at the recent Innocent festival and her new single 'Belief' is picking up airplay on Amazing Radio. SHEEPY The three piece Liverpudlian punk rock band put on live energetic shows, revealing mega catchy songs, tight hooks and lovely harmonies. The band have played across the UK, Ireland and toured  Europe in 2012 and 2013 with Vamos. Sheepy's debut self-titled album was released on Blang Records in January 2014 with singles "These Clothes" and "Don't Know Much" coming from it, both tracks receiving lots of praise and buzz. The band will be performing tracks off their forthcoming EP 'Wild' (Blang Records) at Discovery. "a melodic, hook laden classic - so adverse and unconcerned as to what is gracing the pages of the NME", Louder Than War RITA SATCH Think pop melodies, rich harmonies of Motown with dark soulful beats and modern grooves of the UK’s underground music scenes, mixed with a powerful jazz inspired husky vocal and that’s the sound of one Rita Satch. Widely known for her soulful and seductive live performances, Rita Satch has fast developed a reputation as an unforgettable presence in Australia’s neo-soul scene. Ahead of her Glastonbury festival appearance Rita plays Discovery. “There is no questioning the sensationally sultry timbre of Satch’s voice”, Vulture Magazine MO MICHAEL A self taught musician, plays blues and folk influenced music with African sentiments. He has worked as a session guitarist with artists including Tina Turner, Quincy Jones, Ruby Turner, Evelyn Thomas,Imagination, Errol Brown, Paul Weller, Wham!, Suggs, Erasure. In the early 80's he joined Private Lives with John Adams who signed to EMI and made a well received album, which gave him a pop profile.  He's worked with a variety of African artists, including Baba Maal, Moudi Kabalou, for whom he produced a Kora Award nominated album.
