Tora! Tora! Tora! – Lest We Forget

Other People's Airplanes show

Summary: “Tora! Tora! Tora!” is the Commemorative Air Force’s recreation of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor that signaled the beginning of America’s involvement in World War II. Designed as a living history lesson, the intent of the Tora group is to help generations of individuals throughout the world born after World War II understand that war does not discriminate in the pain it causes and that courageous individuals on both sides lose their lives. During EAA Airventure 2013 in Oshkosh, WI, Other People’s Airplanes had an exclusive opportunity to talk to the members of the Tora, Tora, Tora Team. They allowed us to mount GoPros in and on their historic warbird aircraft, work with their pyro team during the performance, and station cameras across different parts of the airfield during their performance. More than a dozen cameras, filming across two days, over a year of editing and the tireless hard work of the entire OPA team resulted in this special feature. We hope you appreciate this tribute to “Tora! Tora! Tora!”. Lest we Forget. http://ToraToraTora.com http://facebook.com/OtherPeoplesAirplanes http://YouTube.com/FlyOPA http://airventure.org
