Summary: Trust me, I've seen some interesting stories in my day, but "Trust Me" isn't among 'em. As formal niche critics, we've given The Following a TON of leeway, allow it to lumber through ridiculous writing, implausible jaunts into something called "storylines" and outright idiocy, when it comes to showcasing our law enforcement in beyond DUMB and terrible lights. But here we are AGAIN, just three episodes into Season 2 of The following in an episode - ironically called "trust me" - where they're doing it all again. I could continue to wax philosophically, but truly, the proof is in the puddin' - in the continuing storrrry of a former FBI agent, a current mass murderer, his dummy teen followers and an audience that continues to watch this bacon-flavored fluff - that we love to satisfy. It's time for The Following Podcast - a unique and detailed review of each and every episode of The Following on Fox - Season 2, Episode 3 - Trust me - here on The 2GuysTalking Podcast Network...
