Summary: On Saturday 5th December 2009, around 3000 Santas left the North Pole and converged on Battersea Park in London in support of Disabled Snow Sports. The event took place on a closed road circuit that made its way through the park. The route passed the Buddhist Peace Pagoda which was built in 1985 as a symbol of universal peace and followed the river bank. The weather was nice and sunny.
