Marc Summers: Double Dare, Unwrapped, and Restaurant: Impossible

Susie Meister: The Meister Piece » Podcasts show

Summary: Marc Summers was a fixture in many of our homes growing up on Nickelodeon's "Double Dare," and now it's always a delight to see him on The Food Network's "Unwrapped."   He isn't just a one trick pony, though, as he executive produces "Restaurant: Impossible," with Robert Irvine airing Sundays at 10pm.  He is warm, sweet, and fun--just what you felt when you watched him as a child.  He was in a car accident last year as a passenger in a NYC taxi and we begin the interview checking on how he is doing now in his recovery process.  I learn lots about his television career, and by the end I feel like I've known him all my life. I know you'll be mad that I didn't say, "I'll take a physical challenge," but I tried to resist too many "Double Dare," references even though it was such a great part of the 80's.  Follow him on Twitter: @Ibatvmc.
