Summary: I wanted to mix things up a little this Summer and start with some slower house grooves, transitioning through the mix into some upbeat trance. I have been feeling a lot of musical inspiration lately and am excited to include a remix I am working on - Teardrop by Massive Attack. The picture was taken while I was camping, and on a trail, right as the sun was shinning through the trees and leafs. Lots of piano and calming voices are featured throughout this mix, which I think helps to create a bright, peaceful Summer journey. Hope you enjoy the mix! I was inspired when mixing and started jamming along on my acoustic guitar and recorded some riffs on top Arnej - Rendezvous - Always enjoyed this one from Arnej, just a great vibe with calming piano and bass Massive Attack - Teardrop (Matt Crofford Remix) - First time I heard this song I was traveling in Prague and my friend gave me his iPod and told me to listen to this song - wow. Such an amazing song and something I always wanted to remix. This is the rough draft, as I am still working on it but I wanted to include it in the summer mix - let me know what you think! Audien - People Do Not Change - really liking the production on this one and the melody and stabs Mango - Good Morning Track (Sunn Jellie Remix) - heard this a while back but I am really enjoying Sunn Jellie's work lately and this is a great mix Sundriver - Dreamer - euphoric yet mellow, this is a great trancer with an awesome breakdown and driving melody Vangelis - Rachel's Song (Andy Moor Remix) - Bladerunner, the whole soundtrack is amazing film music and Andy Moor does a great job on highlighting the vocal with traditional trance grooves. You might have also heard the tune featured years ago on Perfecto Presents Oakenfold Ruben de Ronde - Timide (Craving Remix) - I've been really impressed with a lot of the work by Craving and this is an exceptional remix with great production and sound Thanks for listening, Matt
