Summary: January 13, 2011 Call every African American you know: women and men. If there's one stopper that caps all the rest when an African American woman considers swimming lessons, it's her hair. And it's not a small thing. One of my guests has searched out every last option. The other is a man who also stayed away from lessons on account of his locks to his waist. Almost the entire show will be spent on how to beat the hair issue and come away safe in water for the rest of your life. The first part of the show will address the necessity of parents learning to swim before their children. The world would be a safer place for millions if this were the order of learning.
