Episode 6.35 - Featuring Matt Lashoff

A Foot In The Crease show

Summary: Ahead this week on AFITC, the Conference Finals are reaching the tipping point. The Vancouver Canucks have the San Jose Sharks on the brink of elimination while the Tampa Bay Lightning and Boston Bruins have been back and forth all series long. We’ll get you caught up on all the action in the Redline Report including Ben Eager’s antics; whether changes are necessary in San Jose if the Sharks bow out and a goaltending controversy in Tampa Bay.  Kick starting the segment is another Defining Moment in Leafs History, this week looking at the hiring of Pat Quinn. In Back Checking, we turn to our listeners for some contributions via the twitter and email account. The Atlanta Thrashers appear poised to be on the move to Winnipeg. We’ll address that situation as well before welcoming this week’s guest, Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Matt Lashoff to talk about the end of the Maple Leafs season, the Eastern Conference Finals and about his burgeoning career as a musician with his debut release “Living on Heart.” Wrapping the program is rigamarole where we’ll look at the big test Detroit Red Wings General Manager Ken Holland suddenly has on his hands. Given his past history though, I’m pretty confident he’s going to pass. This is Episode 6.35 of AFITC. Make sure you pick up a copy of Matt’s terrific debut release “Living On Heart,” available in the itunes music store or at lashoff.com.
