about us
Rob Chilver has nearly fifteen years’ experience in the book industry. He has worked across bookselling, digital marketing and content marketing, with roles including online merchandising and social media management for Waterstones.com, running campaigns for bestselling authors at Headline and Bookouture and leading on digital marketing for Wimbledon BookFest. His innovative campaign for One Pound Meals, the first cookbook by Miguel Barclay, won the Adult Non-Fiction category at the Book Marketing Society awards.
Kate Neilan has worked in marketing since 2015. Her roles have spanned sales, publicity and marketing, responsible for full-funnel campaign ideation and implementation for B2C and B2B, from awareness, preorder, retailer engagement and lead capture through nurture and education to conversion and upgrade. She has worked across the full modern marketing channel mix, taking in OOH, print, display and programmatic, paid search and paid social, as well as radio, audio, TV streaming and real-world stunt guerrilla activity. She ran the marketing for the first six books by million-copy-selling cookery author Rukmini Iyer, and her campaign for Iyer’s The Roasting Tin Around the World was shortlisted for Marketing Strategy of the Year at the British Book Awards 2021.
Influencer Grace Latter recently joined the Adventures With Words team. Grace is focusing on copywriting, social media and newsletter consulting, and Instagram and social read-a-longs.
