 Being Givers | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:08:03

Hosts: Quan, Dee Dee, Fraronda, Auri, & O.G Givers, Takers, Askers, Matchers, and Oh it’s Strategic Too. On this week’s episode, each of these is discussed by the crew. Placing themselves and one another in each of these categories, this conversation takes another deep dive into who the PPP crew is and how they operate. It isn’t always easy being a giver and sometimes it’s hard to recognize when that’s not all you are. But part of being in a healthy relationship and setting healthy boundaries is knowing what you need and don’t need to be able to function in whatever capacity necessary. This week the crew discusses all of that and how it shows up in their own friend group. They also take some time to think about how they could potentially do and be better for one another to make things work a little better. As usual, while they are so very similar in most things, they have vastly different ways of showing up even if they all can call themselves givers. But at the end of the day, they accept one another, flaws and all, and deal with what they have to deal with to keep the friendship flame alive and burning. Make sure to tune into this week’s episode to get into the nitty-gritty of things and be entertained by the functioning dysfunction that is the Perfect People Podcast Crew!    Like, Comment, Review, Subscribe and 5 Star Rate Want to join the conversation? Using their personal life experiences to first determine where they land on the spectrum, and then discussing how it both works and doesn’t work for each of them. A balance is necessary but not always the case and as a result, there are some instances where one doesn’t work over the other. Discussing how it works in personal relationships, in professions, and in recreational parts of life, the crew offers their opinions and their outlook on each of the sides. Per usual, even when there are commonalities amongst the crew there are also vast differences that completely make up the attributes. Tune in to the conversation and figure out where each of the crew stands on the issue at hand and how it all came to be.

Truth Vs. Honesty | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:00:21

Hosts: Quan, Dee Dee, Fraronda, Auri, & O.G   Truth vs. Honesty, who ever even thought of there being a difference? Well apparently there is! Listen to this week’s episode to hear the crew’s stance on the two sides and where they personally feel they land. This conversation is filled with the crew’s own truths and personal anecdotes from one another about each other, that support how they operate in their everyday lives with the people who they have to deal with on a consistent basis. As always, through laughter and some introspection the crew has a very eye opening conversation around truth vs. honesty. In the end they establish that there is indeed a difference. They even discover that how they personally orient absolutely does directly affect how others are able to interact with them in some of the most important situations they have or will encounter in life. Giving it to you real and raw, the crew tells all and even walks away knowing themselves and each other a little better than when they entered the conversation.

Happy or Nah? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:03:30

Hosts: Quan, Dee Dee, Fraronda, Auri, & O.G   On this episode of the Perfect People Podcast, Auriel aka Auri, brings her school to the crew. Asking 3 distinct questions, what does happiness mean to you?, Is happiness having what you want, or wanting what you have?, and Is it possible to be too happy?...the crew has an in-depth discussion about happiness and their relationship to it. Though, they have vastly different perspectives as well as having experienced happiness in different ways, the crew is able to agree that how they have come to think about happiness has evolved over time. With age comes maturity and wisdom and what once made them happy is not necessarily what is currently making them happy. Listen to the episode and then tell us what you think.   The Many Faces of Conflict | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:11:13

Hosts: Quan, Dee Dee, Fraronda, Auri, & O.G   During this episode of the Perfect People Podcast, the crew talks about their approach to conflict and conflict resolution. The conversation quickly comes to a place where the crew has to acknowledge that their ways of dealing with conflict may not be the healthiest nor the most effective. BUT, within that realization, there has been tremendous growth and maturity over the years. Although the crew handles conflict in vastly different ways, there is one thing they all have in common, the shade is always going to be real when it is warranted. Through lots of laughter and humor, and of course, some bits of getting off task, the group takes an individual and group perspective around conflict, what they are doing well, what they are trying to improve, and the things they have to accept about one another and others have to accept about them.

“Good” People, How Do We Know? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:56:17

Hosts: Quan, Dee Dee, Fraronda, Auri, & O.G   During this episode of the Perfect People Podcast, the crew has a conversation about what it means to be a good person. Using themselves and their own good and bad deeds as jumping off points, the conversation smoothly flows into who or what determines whether someone is good or bad. Taking it a step further, the conversation then examines situations where we would or would not step up as “good” people, why we would or would not, and the potential repercussions of us choosing to step up or not step up. Good people do indeed do bad things, but what is the point of no return and is there such a thing as redemption. The discussion then segways into varying tv shows as examples of how people’s morality or lack thereof is seen or can be seen by other people. What one person may see as a bad person, someone else may see as a good person. Everything depends on perception and the parts of the person that is presented. Depending on what is at stake, there is always the potential for good people to do bad things, and for bad people to do good things. What is the motivation and the intention? Eventually the co-hosts arrive at the realization that no matter if you determine someone as good or bad, people all have elements of good and bad in them.
