 Happiness | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:05:38

Happiness is defined and experienced based on the individual. We all need different things in order to call ourselves happy. Which then begs the question can we ever reach that pinnacle of happiness that we are always trying to seek. Do we even really know when we have reached happiness. Is the target constantly moving and the truth of the matter simply is we just can never be completely satisfied enough to call ourselves happy. In this episode of the Perfect People Podcast, the crew explores all these questions and then a little more. First defining what happiness means to each of us and then ending with what our macro goals are that would lead to this elusive level of happiness. Seeking to do and be better while also recognizing our growth and extending ourselves grace when we sometimes fall down is common thread that seems to link our experiences together. As usual, the crew challenges one another, finds affinity with one another, and then finally works to hold one another accountable. Check out the episode to get the inside scoop and learn the crew just a little more deeply.

 In Laws | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:13:19

If we decide that marriage is what we want, then the in-laws do indeed come as a package deal. Some for the good and some for the not-so-good. But better or worse they are now part of your family. On this episode of the Perfect People Podcast, the crew discusses both the current place that in-laws have in the marriage and the desired place for in-laws in marriage. Going as deep as yeah, we are willing to be part of their care when they get older and as surface as, hey I want them to be active parts of our lives in some way shape, or form. Do boundaries have to exist in those relationships? If so, how do you set them and who is even responsible for setting them? Once again a very lively debate ensues as the crew talks through their individual wants and current realities when it comes to their current and or future in-laws. So, don’t miss this episode and once you have listened, please feel free to weigh in! We want to hear from you!!!

 Exes | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:58:01

On this episode of the Perfect People Podcast, the crew discusses exes. When you break up or go your separate ways from your used-to-be significant other, can they and should they still have a place in your life? Some of us say, yes, minimally because there is no bad blood so it is possible to still have every now and then contact with them to acknowledge certain life events. Others, say absolutely NOT! The past is the past and that is where it should stay. Can you guess who said what? If not, tune in and see what the crew has to say about the exes and their experiences with their exes. If so, tune in to confirm whether or not you actually got it right, because you just might be shocked! But then again, you have spent time with us at this point, so you probably won’t be surprised at all! Still, it’s always good conversation, fun and games, all the laughs, and even the occasional aha or teaching moment that may just have you contemplating your own stance. Hosts: Dee Dee, Auri, Fraronda, O.G., and Quan Advice and opinions are a natural part of everyone’s lives, whether solicited or unsolicited, but we also have the very powerful choice of choosing what we do with those opinions and thah advice. On this episode of the Perfect People Podcast, the crew discusses who they seek advice from, how they decide what they will do with that advice, and their thoughts and feelings about how people perceive them. No matter how hard we think we are, we all on some level care about how others view us and our choices. We also have to recognize that we represent more than just ourselves in many cases so our choices do not just effect us.  Friendship and Significant Others | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:50:14

It’s a delicate balancing act but it can in fact be done. As you all know, each of the crew members have been single for different amounts of time, with some of them holding very serious relationships during the span of our friendship, and Auri being the only married person of the friend group. With circumstances consistently changing and us evolving as people it is no wonder that relationship statuses will also be amongst the things that will force us to continue to develop an ongoing understanding of what it means to maintain a friend group. Introverts, extroverts, expectations, obligations, responsibilities, and so much more shift when significant others are part of the mix, but one thing that the Perfect People Podcast crew has committed to maintaining is the glue that holds us all together.  Want to join the conversation?  Love is a Choice | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:40:17

The old saying goes, “Oh, I fell in love”...insinuating that there was no choice in the matter at all. On this episode of the Perfect People Podcast, the crew explores LOVE! How do we come to be in love and how do we come to stay in love. Do we really just fall into it, or is it an active choice that each of us has to make each and every day that we decide to be with someone. If love is an action word, and actions are a series of choices that we make, it could be argued that we choose the act of loving. Check out the varying perspectives of the crew and how we are all enlightened by the take and understanding of love based on our experiences. Sometimes love has felt like something that was done to us versus something we were actively participating in. Who do you think believes what and how do you think they have come to believe those things, chime in and respond using one of the platforms listed below.  Want to join the conversation?  Tab vs Wendy! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:48:37

So, at this point, we have all heard the now-famous graceful “clap back” given to Wendy William by Tabitha Brown. Wendy decided to offer her opinion on Tab and Chance’s (Tab’s husband) decision to retire Chance from the LAPD calling it “a recipe for disaster”. In this episode of the Perfect People Podcast, the crew discusses their thoughts around the situation and whether or not Wendy really had the right to even speak her opinion on their decision. With some help from our guest, B-Eazy from the DJ Blaze show, the foursome dives deep into the ins and outs of the debacle and explore things like was Wendy warranted an opinion, should Tab have “clapped back” whether it was graceful or not, would we retire our own spouses, where exactly was Wendy coming from when she offered her thoughts and the rise of Tab to stardom. As always, the crew each offers their unique perspectives steeped in their different experiences. So, come on and check out this episode of the Perfect People Podcast, and chime in using one of the platforms below.  Want to join the conversation? Email us at perfectpeoplepodcast@gmail.com
