 Episode 04 - Pride, Passion and Glory | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:37:22

For this story, I spent two banner-making nights with the Essendon Bombers cheer squad, and hung out with them at the final game of the year. I was really interested in exploring how their support has fared in the wake of the drug scandal and a season of disappointment on the field. I was honestly a little surprised to find such an outpouring of love and passion for the team amongst the supporters. While I was hoping to find someone with something a little negative to say about the team and the past three years, I was left wanting. My thanks go to the Essendon Bombers cheer squad, particularly Glenda Wade, Ricky Wheeler and Cheryl Trott. This episode contains soundbites from content owned by afl.com.au, Channel 9 (Footy Classified), and Fox Footy.  Episode 03 - An Extraordinary Thing (Part Two): At Least We Don't Slaughter Dolphins | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:22:12

In the first part of this series, I watched a cow being slaughtered and butchered. In this second part, I talk to four friends to find out what their views are and why they make the eating choices they do. Featuring Rosie Joyce, Matt Whitmore, Nicole Rodger, and Kent Sutherland.  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

 Episode 02 - Whose Flags? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:07:11

In a follow-up of sorts to Episode 00, I visit another protest to get a better understanding of the motivations of the right-wingers. In the end, I also get a better understanding of myself.  Episode 01 - An Extraordinary Thing (Part One): Killing Dotcom | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:15:29

I'm a bit interested in questioning why I do what I do. That's a big question, so a smaller one, is why I eat what I eat. I eat beef, so in the first part of this short series, I go watch a cow being slaughtered.  Episode 00 - Big Trouble in Little Coburg | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:22:09

In the Melbourne suburb of Coburg in late May of 2016, hundreds of angry people with opposing political views came together. No one was really there for a calm and civil discussion. I talk to people from both sides to find out what motivated them to come.
