DarkMark, AKA, Mark McClure, got his start playing in the seattle underground scene. Playing Venues like Naft Studio, FX, electric Tea Garden. After a short time he was on a regular rotation at top clubs in seattle like: LSC, Trinity, The Underground, Medusa, Contour, and Noc-Noc. In 2010, Mark met Darran Bruce, Creator/Executive Producer of the series The DJ Sessions. Shortly after he signed on as the first resident DJ for the show. In addition Mark began working with Televisionary Records, headed by top Seattle DJ Channel Surfer. This relationship also saw Mark dabble with a live band side project “Station2Station”. After a long colorful stint in the club scene, Mark decided to chase his other love, cooking. Mark returned back to Seattle after a six year stint of traveling the world as an in-demand private chef. With him came a even more deeper connection to life, music, happiness, and the desire to share that with the world. Funky, bangin, groovy, smooth, sexy, happy, and energetic are only a few words to describe Mark’s style. Arkley on the Virtual Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 11am PST 9/30/22 About Arkley - Launching in 2021, Arkley is a new Scottish DJ and producer influenced by classic 90s rave, house and big beat acts such as The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers and early Daft Punk. Arkley announced his 'Origins EP' in summer 2022, a project which explores the 90s dance influences behind his sound. First single, 'Back 2 Love (House '89)' was accompanied by exclusive guest mixes for BBC Introducing and Clubbing TV and made "tip of the week" on Arkley's local BBC Introducing, along with support from legendary DJ Judge Jules. The EP also includes the summery UK garage track 'All I Got Is Love' and the high-tempo track 'Burnin' (138 Energy Mix)' which recalls the rugged grooves of early Prodigy. Using a unique sampling style inspired by The KLF and The Avalanches, Arkley's self-produced debut single 'Music (Over & Over)' was supported by multiple plays on BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio, and was used on primetime BBC News to soundtrack scenes from Leeds Festival. DJ Shash'U on the Virtual Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 1pm PST 9/29/22 About DJ Shash'U - Afrofuturist B-Boy, remix alchemist, legit funk phenomenon… Montreal’s Shash’U is truly one of a kind. He’s been burning down stages from Boiler Room at SXSW to underground street dance competition “Juste Debout” with a mix of wild style remixes and audacious originals that sound at once alien and familiar, turning even the poppiest of radio hits into breakbeat battle weapons. This approach has won Shash’U a rabid following.   Originally from Montreal – son of Haitian parents – Richard St- Aubin, best known as Shash’U, first saw the light of day in 1983. He was only 9 when he began to play the drums and then turned to electronic music composition in his late adolescence. He would soon thereafter develop a unique signature sound thanks to his mixture of avant-garde hip-hop, funk, r&b and electro acoustics. At the age of twenty and after a few years of practicing various forms of street dance, Shash’U adopted the turntables to become the DJ that we know today. He has since forged a solid reputation in the planet-wide realm of street dance. His musical career began to take shape through his performances as DJ-beat producer for his fellow street dancers, for whom he composes and plays his instrumentals in international competitions. This introduction to the DJ art is what allowed him to make the leap into the world of nightclubs. As of the year 2005, Shash’U – who already possessed a solid DJ reputation – starts building his amazing track record as a composer and songwriter, collaborating with some of the biggest names in hip-hop and electro beat both in Quebec and abroad. A-Trak (CA/USA), Lunice (CA), Kaytranada (CA), Chromeo (CA/USA), James DiSalvio (Bran Van 3000), Youssoupha (FR), Kutmah (UK), Gage (Fr), Gilles Peterson (UK), are some of the artists with whom he teams up. When AthenaLuv rocks the decks she spins an eclectic mix of techno, breakbeats, electro and progressive.
