The adventures of a boy's school headmaster who looks like William Shakespeare, and is very good at solving murders. This story takes place at a mountain resort where a murder has been committed by someone who is very adept at throwing knives.
Mrs. Mollet has been kidnapped. After she escapes, she and Leonidas set out to capture the crooks. The program has also been dated June 23, 1944.
The first show of the series on Mutual. Walter Hampden gives a short talk at the start of the show, explaining the characters in this detective series. A dead man is occupying Leonidas' closet during an afternoon tea. It turns out the Nazis are at work!
