The End Of The Line Podcast

In this edition of The End Of The Line podcast, I am joined by Ramsey for another episode of the Life's Short, Get Ducks story. Ramsey and I visit about Azerbaijan. Where in the heck is it? What in the world is there to attract ducks and people to hunt those ducks there? What kind of ducks are they killing? What is the landscape? Finally, we talk about history of that geographical area and how the world all started in that area.  

In this edition of The End of The Line podcast, Bill and I get together for the final chapter of The Path. It has been a fun ride and it definitely won't be the last podcast episode Bill will be on. Bill will be moved to our expert panel and appear once or twice a month from now on. Today, Bill goes through his last days at Avery and where his path went from there. We end it by talking about Bill's biggest regret. What would he like to go back and change?  Great final episode with Bill and very sad to see him leave our weekly storied episodes.

I will say this, social media gives us talking points to talk about every day and this was especially one of those day. We talk about a outrageous post a family member of mine made and then one that popped on Ducksouth last night about a guy that has ripped a bunch of duck hunters off. Then, Martin joins the show for another part of Becoming Martin. We talk about why duck hunters blame Duck Dynasty for all the problems in the duck hunting world. What were the conversations behind closed doors with the guys from Duck Commander when their name would come up in a negative light? Was it their fault or is it something else?

In this edition of The End Of The Line podcast, Bradley and I get together in the opening and discuss the rain and what all is under water. Then, we discuss the latest appearances on podcast and public radio for the FFL. What are AL-Qaeda lights? Then, Rob joins the show and we discuss his weather reporting this weekend, Ole Miss controversy and is Ms State behind it, Stingray's lawsuit against Barstool Sports, and Arkansas. Why do they always have to be in the middle of every controversy? It is long one, but good night it is a awesome podcast.

In this edition of The End Of The Line podcast, Spencer and I get together for another chapter in the "Thunder Rolls" series. First, we talk about the NWTF and how it went for him and his crew. Then, we revisit an old "I told you so." Then, we visit about that first process he set up to get calls out to stores and to the public. It is a all hands on deck moment. Finally, Spencer tells a story about an old friend, that is no longer with us, that just knew that Rolling Thunder was gonna be a success.

In this edition of The End Of The Line podcast, I am joined by Ramsey Russell. Ramsey and I open it up talking about how to get in the hunting industry and get paid. Then, we talk a little bit about the hunting in Mexico. Finally, we talk about "Coop, the chicken dog." This is Coop's last destination hunting trip with Ramsey and he has almost been there since the very beginning. Retiring the great ones is something we all must face one day. So, along with it being a unreal trip killing ducks, it has been a trip that Ramsey hates to see end.

Today, I tell Bill about how my wife got pulled into one of the greatest pranks ever pulled by Rob Croom and how I won't hear the end of it any time soon. I know the salesman at the AT&T store won't. Finally, we visit a little about Bill's last couple of years at Avery.

Then, we talk about the Instagram famous Canada Goose hunt he and the guys went on a couple of weeks ago. Finally, we close it out talking about the NWTF.

First, we discuss a new topic that popped up on our radar this week from a listener. It was a study released by NOAA that the magnetic north pole has shifted around 30-35 mile over the 7-10 years. Has it effected the ducks and their migration? What has it done to weather patterns? Then, we play the why or why not game. It is a series of questions that I present to Bill that a lot of new duck hunters ask after the season is over. He explains why or why not.
