The Blitz with Fred Faour & Friends

In the second hour of the show, Fred and AJ talk about the college football games over the weekend. The guys also talk about some of the TV shows they have been watching. Fred and AJ also weigh in on the Texans and the help they will need on offense.

Fred and AJ start the hour by discussing who the MLB MVP is going to be. The guys also discuss the Nike campaign with Colin Kaepernick in and how the public is taking it.

To open up the final hour of the show, they are joined by Eric from Karbach to test out some beer that AJ sent an intern to go buy. After the opening segment, they continue the beer discussion and AJ tries to find out what type of guy Fred would like if he came out of the closet. To close out the show, they share some hilarious stories on the Dumbass Report.

To start the middle hour of the show, the guys talk discuss the news that Le’Veon Bell skipped practice today and they also take a look at the Texans roster after final cuts. As the show rolls along, AJ recaps his perfect weekend trip to Schlitterbahn, take a look at some of the roster moves across the NFL, and question why the University of Kansas still has a football team. To finish up the hour, they share a story from the UK from a tech expert who claims that he found the missing flight from Malaysia Air on the Zadok Jeweler Gem of the Day.

On a special Labor Day edition of the show, Fred and AJ kick it off by discussing the Khalil Mack trade and the importance of the Astros. Over the rest of the hour the discuss all the action from last weekend’s college football games, highlighting the best and worst looking teams in the Top 25.

Fred and AJ start the final hour talking about fantasy football picks. AJ goes into a story about a bad massage parlor experience. Fred gives the list of the cities that are losing the most people in the population. CBS forbids newscasters from talking about gambling. Fred announces a job for one year for over $120, 000\. AJ tells a meth story. Fred and AJ go into a plethora of nonsportsy stories to close the show. Fred starts the “Stupid Stuff” session of the segment. The guys close the show with betting lines on college football for this holiday weekend starting tonight.  

Fred and AJ start the show with their College Picks in football betting. Fred gives everyone the Zadok Jewelers Gem of the Day with a Russian story. RJ Bell betting Guru joins the show.     

Fred and AJ are on location at Karbach and start the show talking about the football game they watched the night before and this weekend games to bet on. AJ is not keen on Rockets latest trade basketball talent wise. ESPN’s Karl Ravech joins the show to talk about the home town Astros. Fred delves into the Texans’ cuts to get to the lauded 53\. The guys reminisce about their favorite MLB ball parks. The guys talk about a rookie got fined for an illegal hit on a QB and making 1/10th what he is getting paid.  

In a short segment due to Texas A&M football, AJ gives a live update to the New Mexico vs. Minnesota game. Fred gives away tickets to Journey and Def Leppard. The guys end the show with the gem of the day.  

Brad Powers of Pregame.com joins the guys to talk about the betting lines of a few college football games. Former Houston Texan, Owen Daniels joins the show and reveals some heartbreaking news about his son. Fred and AJ ask Owen questions about his career both on and off the field. He also gives his thoughts on the currents Texan team. He also gives his thoughts on Bob McNair’s comments and the chances that Wisconsin has of winning the national championship. 

The guys start the show by announcing that AJ Hinch has received a contract extension, which sparks a debate on how much managers matter to the game of baseball. Christopher Harris of Harrisfootball.com joins the show to answer some fantasy questions for Fred and AJ. Next, the guys discuss their bets on some college football games. Fred reveals the new content on Sportsmap. The guys have a discussion on child support. 

Fred and AJ start the show with comic movies with Jong. The guys go into Texas state fair food. AJ goes into a British wedding party spat. The guys give wedding and relationship advice. The close the show doing a Memoriam segment.  

AJ and Fred start the show with a giveaway. AJ goes into sports betting and transitions to Texans game tomorrow and a little NFL. AJ introduces the 10 Best offenses in college football according to Sports not. The guys ponder the College Football Championship and change lanes to Super Bowl contenders from the AFC.    

Fred and AJ start the show with the buildup of the Astros game vs. A’s in the rubber game. AJ goes into his experience with pot brownies this last trip he was on. Jong goes into his trip to Thailand and pot experience. The guys discuss the Saints acquisition, Teddy Bridgewater. The guys talk about the MVP in the running at the moment. AJ mentions the struggles with Correa watching 3rd stikes. They announce Tyler White’s walk-off vs. A’s to stay 2.5 games ahead of the A’s. AJ delves into radio vs. TV on ESPN and different personalities and their choices. The guys close the hour with ranking the Texas college teams.

Fred is missing to begin the third hour, so AJ has to start the final hour solo. Fred takes issue with people’s professionalism around the office. The guys then talk True Detective. The guys give away concert tickets and talk classic rockbands. The guys also take a look at a projection of the Texans’ 53-man roster. The guys end the show with “hey man, *bleep* that.”
