We made this montage after Wayne Rooney left Manchester United for Everton having just lifted the UEFA Europa League for the club, completing the club's, and his personal, trophy cabinet. One of Manchester United's greatest ever players, the greatest goalscorer Old Trafford has ever seen and a man who represented the fight and desire that football fans adore so greatly. Maybe you fancy a listen just for nostalgia's sake.  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

 S4 E14 - The mediocrity project | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:29:33

Manchester United are 13 points off the relegation zone and 14 off the top of the table. And yet this is the team who came from behind in Turin against the Champions League favourites. These players and this team are clearly not spineless, they clearly can be great, they can do great things and can show how much they care. But a 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace really was deja vu, a flashback to every game against opposition of this standard. Hosts Harry Robinson and Jack Tait discuss the result and look ahead to games against Valencia and Southampton as well as providing you with our regular extensive youth update as the U18s Manchester derby takes place. If you enjoy the show, please leave us a review on iTunes to help more people find it. Cheers!  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

 S4 E13 - Disheartening derby defeat | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:34:03

Hosts Harry Robinson and Jack Tait talk about the recent loss to Manchester City in the derby as Anthony Martial scored a penalty but Manchester United were outclassed and outpassed at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League. The Reds were probably lucky to only lose 3-1 and so Harry and Jack talk comparisons to City, transfers, Mourinho, Fred and much more, as well as possible new contracts for veterans Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia. As always we have our youth update as Mason Greenwood scores his 17th goal of the season.  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

 S4 E12 - Something special in Turin | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:22:20

 S4 E11 - More 2nd halves please | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:31:24

Hosts Harry Robinson and Jack Tait consider Manchester United’s inability to play football properly in the first halves of games. The second halves, on the other hand, have been good. The two Reds talk why that is and why it’s an issue as well as the good form of Lindelof, Pogba and the possibility that Sanchez could be getting back on track. There is a very brief youth round-up as we focus on the upcoming Juventus game. Enjoy the show. Cheers for listening!  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

 S4 E10 - Accepting mediocrity? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:36:47

Hosts Harry Robinson and Jack Tait discuss whether Manchester United are accepting mediocrity in a number of sectors of the football club. That question is raised in the backdrop of a win, a loss and a draw against Everton, Juventus and Chelsea respectively and the fact that defender Chris Smalling reached 300 games for the club on Sunday. As always, we provide a youth and loan update and look ahead to next weekend's game.  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

 S4 E9 - Jose's Lifeline | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:40:15

Passion. Blood. Sweat. Tears. No, it’s not Andy Tate, but we saw some pride from the Manchester United players in a 3-2 comeback win against Newcastle on Saturday evening. Friday evening saw reports come out that Jose Mourinho was set to be sacked regardless of the result against Newcastle. That hasn’t happened, obviously. But when United went two goals down within the opening 10 minutes, it looked quite possible. It was an abysmal start, but United scored three times in the last 25 minutes through Mata, Martial and Sanchez. If the conceding two goals within the space of three minutes was traditional of this season, the comeback was more traditional of one of Fergie’s United team. We saw quality, determination, pride and effort. That we haven’t seen that all season is obviously a negative, but it’s a life line for Mourinho. So we’re talking that, and as always we have our regular youth and loan round-up as we head into the international break.  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

 S4 E8 - United: The soap opera | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:33:38

Hosts Harry Robinson and Jack Tait talk about a Manchester United who is now full of “fear and predictability”. The hope is going. And so they choose who to blame. Jose Mourinho? The players? The board? Ed Woodward? Man United are becoming like a soap opera. A 3-1 defeat to West Ham is discussed as well as 0-0 draw to Valencia in the Champions League and more. As always we have our youth round-up. Enjoy the show. Cheers!  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

 S4 E7 - Edging towards Jose Out | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:31:12

Hosts Harry Robinson and Jack Tait talk Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba in depth. Have they moved over to the Mourinho out section? Recording after two poor results against Wolves and Derby County, the two Reds dissect the issues on and off the pitch from those games. Plus there’s our regular youth, loan and women’s round-up. Cheers for listening, enjoy the show!  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

 S4 E6 - Smalling is Zidane? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:37:53

Hosts Harry Robinson and Jack Tait talk a good 2-1 win away to Watford as Romelu Lukaku scores with his belly and Chris Smalling with a stunning Zidane-esque strike. They look at Alexis Sanchez and his Manchester United future as well as Marouane Fellaini and the Belgian’s ever-increasing importance in the Reds’ midfield. As always, we have our regular and extensive youth and loan round-up with Mason Greenwood scoring a hat-trick for the under-18s.
