This week host Matty is joined by Jay Moylan! Jay is on the Prime Archery Pro staff team for competitive archery! In this episode the boys uncover Jay's biggest idols and mentors in the sport of archery. Jay dives shares his biggest 'gold nugget' takeaways that each of these mentors passed onto him. Jay explains why he doesn't think you should use bow wax... And, Matty owns up to never having using it on his first bow. Towards the end of the conversation the boys get into the nitty gritty's of accuracy! Obviously it's a compliment of hours practising with good technique... This week host Matty is joined by Ben Salleras! Ben is one of Australia’s most travelled bowhunters when it comes to hunting around the world. The boys dive into Ben’s origins and pull apart the turning points of his hunting while growing up around some of the greats in the early days of bowhunting in Australia. They talk about the strong desire/calling to learn of or history and understanding your home land. And, in turn the benefits of learning ‘bush craft’ from being in the wilderness and walking the bush with a bow! Matty and Ben talk about the maturing progression that bowhunters go through… This is very insightful as they both agree it’s like life and something you can never “master” but instead always pursue. Benny talks of some of his favourite hunts that his been on abroad as well as his dream hunts that he’s yet to do. This week host Matty is joined by Grant Rand to talk all about executing the perfect shot, perfectly executing a plan to get the critters down and how he and the boys from Kyuga Broadheads have been perfectly executing the release of their new broadheads.   Grant is one of the owners over at Kyuga Broadheads and gives us the rundown into the design and creation of broadheads! He explains how what seems like a simple job has turned into a 5-year business with the plans to only get bigger and better from here!   Grant also gives some of his insights for in the field based on some of his biggest learnings! This week Matty is joined by the man behind The Hunters Journal (New Zealand hunting magazine) Cam Henderson! Cam is a passionate cameraman, outdoorsman and hunter and has found a way to make it his lifestyle and work! Cam released his first printed edition of the Hunters Journal 18 months ago and hasn't looked back! Through the Hunters Journal Cam has recently released a short film called 'Wildfire'. Wildfire is the adventures of Bowhunter Khan Adams through his 2019 Red deer and Sika deer ruts!
