Summary: Having run a successful Exercise Physiology clinic for over 12 years, I have seen countless fads and trends come along in this time. After a call from my mother in 2015 pleading to help my sister, her health and her bulging waistline, I set out to find a method that would finally see her take control of her health and weight. The last 3-4 years has been a journey into the world of Fasting and Fat Loss which has not only seen my sister finally see progress, but also allowed me to come across a number of amazing people and life changing stories. I want this podcast to be a place where I can share what I have learnt over this time as a way to help introduce you into fasting and see you take control of your Health, Happiness and Weight. I will also aim to have a number of guests on this show, both professionals and people who have lost weight and changed their life through Fasting as a way to expand the conversation and learn from the best in the industry and ordinary people who have found great success through the Fasting Life. This past week I was booked in for my first Jab of pfizer and wasn't sure how I would pull up and so have decided to bring another one of my all time favourite guests and podcasts out of the vault to share with you. Mike was your typical guy growing up in America with a loving family which gave him a great start to crush his school years and receive a job offer at a prestigious Accounting Firm. However, within a few weeks he knew this job was not for him and with a passion in the fitness space he sought out to put himself into a place that would allow him to quit that job and chase his true passion in life. Ever since I put myself through a Wim Hof breath and cold therapy session, I have been quietly fascinated and looking to learn more about the power of the breath. I have read books, listened to podcasts, watch videos and even had Deano from Bondi Rescue on my podcast to talk all about the Power of The Breath. After all of this, I came up with my own breath cycle that combines elements from everything I have heard and observed and it has helped me and many of my clients reduce anxiety and stress, sleep better and given an overall higher sense of well-being. I have had clients ask me to record a 10 minute guided breath cycle so that they could turn it on at any time and just follow along, rather than having to try and count it out themselves, which takes away from the experience.
