Good day everyone RCGP is this weekend rounds 5&6 in beautiful Asti, Italy. The Asti track owned by Former Italian football player Diego Fuser has been prepped and prepared for the upcoming races. The track is looking exceptional and should prove to provide some of the best racing yet in the first ever 1/8 scale Off Road World Series that is RCGP.  On Episode #10 of The Starting Grid JQ , Felix Bo Rigby and Lefty talk about the upcoming race and what they expect will happen. Felix is the new reporter for RCGP and look for his articles this weekend. Together they discuss the past Euro events and how this will effect the drivers coming into these rounds. It was a great event congratulations to Davide Ongaro for winning the RCGP round and Leonardo Valente for winning the RC2 class. Well done to everyone that participated in this event it was awesome. Good day all as RCGP heads into Austria this weekend at the beautiful track knows as Ferhing Lefty and JQ  sit down and talk about the upcoming race. They talk about the unique Euro style track, the beauty of where it is located, the new additions to the race this weekend Elliot Boots, Jorn Neuman and Marco Baruffolo. They make predictions for the top 3 as well as the rest of the field. RC2 class gets to race more this weekend racing the same format as RCGP on the first day and then again IFMAR ladder style on the second day. Can the Mini Viking Pelle Culmsee repeat his performance from the Philipines? Time will tell!!! Coverage starts at 10 AM Austria time on Saturday and that is 6 hours ahead of EST so if you want to watch live you have to be up early. On this episode JQ, Brent and Lefty talk about the awesome first rounds of RCGP Philipines. Current IFMAR World Champion Davide Ongaro won Rd#1 Saturday then RD#2 Sunday leaving Manila with the Championship lead for drivers as well as the Team points. The racing was awesome from the first qualifier all heads up racing and inverted the starting grid each round. JQ talks about how it felt to see RCGP actually happen, Brent is pumped about his Beach RC team and LTG is just pumped period. They touch on the drivers, racing, track, professional coverage and the soon to be released post race show.  Congratulations to Pelle Culmsee for winning the RC2 class and all the participants that took part the racing was great in thier finals and hopefully more top young Euro drivers joining Pelle in Austria in 4 weeks time. We talk about how RC2 is the stepping stone to RCGP and how it can grow young drivers to become pros. Also congrats to the JR drivers that participated in the JR final and the 40+ drivers that participated it all makes for great a great event. Congratulations and job well done to all those involved it was RC history in the making Great job RCGP!! Next race is at the Fehring in Austria more of an MX style track big, dirt and high speeds it should be interesting to see who comes out on top after this next race.
