It's been a year since Sean and Tommy first sat down with Eric Roza at his home in Boulder, Colorado. On this episode, CrossFit's CEO returns to the show to talk about everything he and his team have been working on since he bought the company in 2020. Roza talks about the things they prioritized, how those decisions were made, what he thinks some of his early "wins" were, the people he has hired as part of his leadership team and the impact COVID had on everything he wanted to accomplish.

Sean and Tommy discuss the Affiliate Playbook, why it's a win for everyone and what kind of impact they think it will have. Plus, Annie Thorisdottir stops by to discuss her 3rd place performance at the CrossFit Games, the issues she dealt with postpartum and the physical and mental obstacles she had to overcome during her journey back to competition shape.
On this episode Sean and Tommy talk with Aaron Hoff, Founder of the Keala Foundation and Ultimate Hawaiian Trail Run and Sarah Braunsdorf, Executive Director of the Keala Foundation. The Ultimate Hawaiian Trail Run takes place September 18th at the Omao Track (live), or virtually at home. Aaron and Sarah talk about how the foundation and the event got started, the types of programs they help fund and what people can expect from this year’s event.

Plus, Brent Fikowski stops by to talk about his 3rd place finish at the CrossFit Games, what he changed in his approach to competition this season and what his goals are moving forward.
Scott Panchik has appeared at the CrossFit Games nine times as an individual. He finished 4th his rookie year in 2012. Panchik never stood on the podium, but did finish inside the top 6 seven times in his career. After announcing that this would be his las season, Panchik took 11th at the Games despite a nagging knee injury. He talks to Sean and Tommy about his decision to retire, what stood out about his final appearance at the Games and what advice he has for the athletes still competing.
Pat Vellner locked up the fourth podium finish of his career at the CrossFit Games recently after taking second overall. He joins Sean and Tommy to talk about the experience, where he thinks he could have been better, the lessons he learned and why he feels he can absolutely win the Games in 2022. Plus, Tommy Hackenbruck's recent post on Instagram suggests that business in the team competition may be about to pick up.
Sean and Tommy have finally had some time to reflect on the week that was in Madison and they have plenty to discuss. Two days of competition are in the book for individuals after at STOUT day 2 that included 5 scored events and a ton of movement on the leaderboard.
