Not matter how long it's been, saying goodbye to a loved one can be heartbreaking. I struggled and still struggle with that question -- how to say goodbye to my mom...there's no easy answer and there is certainly no one size fits all solution. But writing my thoughts down and sharing them has been a way for me to deal with the grief of losing those I love. Constable Andrew Hong was tragically killed in the line of duty on September 12th, 2022. He was just 48 years old. Constable Hong was conducting officer training when the heinous event took place. Constable Hong was a dedicated and hard-working police officer who was loved by his colleagues and community. He is said to be have been a "gentle giant" of a man. This episode is a tribute to Constable Andrew Hong, and a reminder that we must never forget the sacrifices made by our police officers. It's no secret that the dating world can be tough. With so many different dating apps and websites, it can be difficult to find someone who's right for you. August 11th is a day replete with nuanced emotion for me. It's a day to remember those who have served our country and given the ultimate sacrifice.
