In this episode, we go back to SummerSlam 2002 when Brock went 1 on 1 with The Rock, go over some current WWE news and some personal stories as a wrestling fan in high school.
Reviewing all of the news stories coming out of WWE this week including Brock's beat down of Seth, Bray Wyatt vs Finn Balor, Trish vs Charlotte, Roman's mystery attacker, Ziggler vs Miz, the declining meaning of mid-tier belts and a very controversial opinion on whether we believe Kofi truly feels like a WWE Champion
In this episode I review Smackdown Live that aired 7/30/19 discussing some of the highlights of the show including Drew McIntyre's losing streak, Sami Zayn as Aleister Black's next opponent, the fans slowly turning on Bayley and Trish's solid night on the mic.
In this episode I review Monday Night Raw that aired July 29, 2019. I go in depth on the very brutal beatdown of Seth Rollins and why it makes me want to see Summerslam, how Maria Kanellis loses the 24/7 championship and what the payoff to the whole storyline may be and I discuss how WWE may in fact be planting the seeds for a Becky Lynch heel turn
In this episode I take a trip back to Money in the Bank 2011 when John Cena faced CM Punk for the WWE Championship that took place in Chicago, IL. I break down the insane crowd reactions for both guys, as well as provide some bonus audio from the "Pipebomb before there were pipebombs" by Joey Styles on Raw from May 1, 2006. One of the best promos that I've ever heard.
In this episode I talk with my Co-Host Mary Grater for over 2 hours about the current WWE product and dive into some older topics like why Stone Cold vs Hogan never happened. This one is a must listen!
In this episode I review Smackdown Live that aired 7/23/19 and cover the entire show including Shinsuke Nakamura & Apollo Crews great match, Ziggler superkicking HBK, Kevin Owens once again hitting Shane with two stunners, The New Day on commentary and much more!
In a nostalgia heavy Monday Night Raw, the Raw Reunion lived up to the name. It was about paying respect to the men and women who came before and paved the way. We saw some progression in storylines and focus on current stars, but this was a night for the legends to have that one more night in the spotlight, headlined by non other than Stone Cold Steve Austin.
In this episode I go back in time to 2006 at a PPV called New Years Revolution when Edge cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase against John Cena to become the WWE Champion. I give my in-person perspective, why the crowd cheered for Edge, a personal interaction I had with Lillian Garcia and more. I also preview tomorrow nights "Raw Reunion" show and discuss whether Roman Reigns vs The Rock is realistic.
In this week's WWE Week in Review ending 7/18/19 my co-host Ashley and I discuss Extreme Rules, Monday Night Raw, Smackdown Live, look ahead to next week's "Raw Reunion" show from Tampa, FL and discuss if Becky Lynch will get booed at SummerSlam.
Reviewing the Smackdown Live show that aired on July 16, 2019 discussing Kevin Owens stunning Shane McMahon twice, Daniel Bryan's "career-altering announcement", Randy Orton stepping up as Kofi's next challenger and much more!
In this episode I review the entire card of Extreme Rules and Monday Night Raw that aired 7/15/19. This is one of the most positive review shows I've done in a while (with only 1 rant sprinkled in).
In one of the greatest WrestleMania matches of all time, I look back at The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels from WrestleMania 25 and what we can learn from it today.
