Scott Summer caught my eye as he's shooting a lot of golf courses, and I wanted to find out how he's making his connections and shooting all his footage. Joshua Foo is an Australian drone pilot, based in Melbourne. He is currently flying a DJI Mavic Air, after loosing his DJI Mavic Pro. Josh has a massive instagram following, and in this episode he discusses how he grew to over 27,000 followers, and the keys to success. I know that instagram is a very popular platform for many drone pilots, so this is some juicy info that you're not going to want to miss!

Federico Barra is an Italian surgeon working at the Milan Hospital, who is also a photo enthusiast in his spare time. Checking out his gallery, you can see that he's a master of both ground based photography and aerial drone photography. Fede is flying the Mavic Pro, as is shooting a Sony mirrorless camera for his ground based shots. He loves the stability of the Mavic Pro in the wind, as well as the low light capabilities of the Sony mirrorless cameras when he's not flying his drone.

Sandrine is based in Perth, Australia, however she's one of the lucky ones that gets to travel the world and bring her drone with her along the way! Alexander Cervin is a drone pilot from Helsingborg, Sweden, who operates the Mavic Pro and Inspire 1 drones. Even though the Inspire 1 is an awesome machine, Alexander's go to drone is the Mavic Pro simply due to it's excellent portability. Even though he likes to fly the smaller drones, Sweden's drone rules are fairly relaxed and you can fly something up to 7kg without a permit!

Thomas Greer is currently flying the Mavic Pro as his main machine, after starting out with the Phantom 3 Pro. He's flying in Portland, capturing images of the bridges, river, downtown buildings, stadiums, etc... all while dodging beers being thrown at him by homeless people! Yes, I'm serious! Listen in to the episode to hear that ridiculous story of a drone pilot dodging a flying beer!

Gracy Lace is based in Los Angeles, but is currently traveling all over the USA capturing drone footage for a wide range of productions. Currently, she's up in Alaska capturing some drone footage for a wicked virtual realty production featuring bears during the salmon run. Gracy is currently flying the DJI Inspire 2, with her fleet also including the Mavic Air and Phantom 4. Listen in to see why she's flying the X5 camera system instead of the X7.

Cord was inspired by listening to previous podcast episodes featuring Danielle de Leon and Jerry Fletcher, and wanted to get on the show to discuss how things are going with his drone business.

Tom Cochrane is based in Newfoundland, Canada, and is creating some amazing photos with his drone. Tom's background was in ground based photography and videography, but once he picked up his first drone he was hooked. Tom started off with the Phantom 4, but since switching to the Mavic Pro, he's been able to take the drone everywhere. As Tom says, if you like to explore new areas, and want a drone that you can take with you almost everywhere, the Mavic Pro is the drone for you!

We've all seen beautiful drone photos of the beach and ocean, however Jackie Dujmovic and her company Hover UAV is taking it to the next level by conducting shark surveillance! When you check out Hover UAV's website, the first thing that you'll see and what immediately caught my eye, is shark footage captured by drone! How's that for an attention getter!

Ty Audronis is an established drone pilot, that has worked with Discovery Channel, and even worked on the Hurricane Harvey relief effort in Texas. Listen in as he describes how they were there to help during the disaster relief, and the steps that he and his team took to ensure that they didn't stress the already scarce resources in the disaster area.

Kara Murphy was one of the lucky few to be able to fly sky high in the dead centre of San Francisco, and has captured some dynamite photos of the cityscape. My personal favourite after checking out her site is this photo of the Salesforce Tower while it was under construction.
